We booked the Wentworth at short notice as we were in Aldeburgh for the day. They were very accommodating to the 3 of us and our 4 dogs.

The location was perfect. Super close to town, great parking and really easy to find. The host was brilliant, arranging early check in and setting up the travel crib for me. Will definitely come back here!

The White Lion is a traditional hotel opposite Aldeburgh’s shingle beach, where wooden huts line the shore.

The staff were fantastic, in particular Matthew who was more than happy to help with any request! The hotel has recently been revamped and has been somewhat modernised but retains its classic look!

Situated in Leiston, 20 km from Framlingham Castle, The Butchers Arms Freehouse features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

I travel all over the UK for work and stay in 100's of hotels but the hospitality shown by the owner and staff was magnificent!! Telephoned them to say I might be late for an evening meal, they said don't worry we'll sort you out. I left before breakfast due to early start so they made me a pack lunch instead NO charge! I'm back down next month and will book again, this will be my go to hotel in future as I'm in the area at least monthly!

Midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh, this modernised, rustic inn has an excellent restaurant and refurbished, stylish rooms. It is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Loved the view over the golf course. Food was lovely and so was the staff.

Comfortable rooms, plenty of parking, large garden space (including furniture, BBQ), good sized separate lounge, dining room and kitchen to spread out, easy self-checkin process, and ability to book for a single night was a plus as not always possible for large properties at weekends
