We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. The location, service, and rooms were all impeccable. The dinners were even better, with Michelin-starred quality food.

From someone working in the industry, I must say that this is a very solid choice and hotel in the area. I did a lot of research and there are not many hotels in Snaefellsnes, mostly guesthouses. This is a fantastic choice but if you go there with the expectation of a 5 start hotel, you will be disappointed. As a small guesthouse close to the mountains and total quietness in the area, it's absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is small but absolutely sufficient. The price-value-ratio is spot on. We enjoyed it very much and I can only recommend it to anyone thinking of going there.

The hosts were extremly nice and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very nicely made and clean, there is a nice bench at the window to enjoy the nice view. The Hotel Lobby has some comfy sofas and chairs to spend some time and relax. Breakfast had everything you could wish for and was very good. We would absolutely come here again!

a bit vintage, a bit nostalgic, but the kitchen and bathroom are brand brand new. Especially all the facilities for cooking in the kitchen, great. Quiet and peaceful, the landlord lives right above I think.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the background music. Ate dinner here twice too. Great people who work here! Lucinda and her husband, as well as Dominick--who suggested we leave a day early so we are not stressing about getting to the airport, which was the most excellent advice!--were all so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here so much, even though we took Dominick's advice and left a day early.
