This is the best place I’ve stayed at in Luang Prabang. We stayed for 15 days and we’re already planning to come back. The place is spotless, bright, and peaceful — but what truly makes it special is the owner’s hospitality. He’s always welcoming you with a smile or serving breakfast with genuine kindness. I felt at home from the moments I stepped in the Garden House! Immaculate clean apartment, very large space. The hostess is the warmest person I have met in the whole SE Asia. She has hired very service minded staff and they are always ready to help. I got so much better service than if I had checked in a regular hotel. We really appreciate we were assigned a ground floor apartment so my husband didn’t have to climb many stairs with his bad knees. We also have been served the best breakfast we have had in whole Laos. Delicious and always freshly made. Homemade jams and homemade soy milk! We couldn’t ask for more. Definitely a place to recommend to everyone I know. P.S. you are welcome to pick fruits and veggies from the garden - it is a lovely thing we were allowed to do.

The Luang Say Residence is gorgeous, with French colonial style rooms set amidst a lovely tropical garden. The pool is large, clean and well maintained. A true oasis. The hotel is a little far from the centre of town, but free bikes and regular shuttles make it easy.

The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.

One of the best places we have stayed in almost 3 months of travel in SEA at this price point. Big range of breakfast food and drink options to choose from and they come with a mixed fruit place that changes every day. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and are cleaned every day. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.

The hosts were extremely polite and helpful, they managed so many activities and transfers for us - tickets to Vang Vieng, shuttle to and from airport, scooter, laundry. The room was great, we slept really well, the AC worked just fine, the breakfast was nice. Overall, we felt great.
