The service was incredible, only matched by the view. The owners couldn’t do any more to make our stay enjoyable - we loved it and highly recommend the venue for anyone travelling in the area.

Definitely love this place. The room & toilet were clean; the bed sheet was also hypoallergenic. No extra fee for bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels. The facilities were just what we needed. Delicious breakfast included, and Lena - one of the owners - really outdid herself with various self-made jams. The decorations were unique; also unique names for the cottages. The atmosphere was peaceful and very cosy. Very kind and friendly owners. We will absolutely stay there again if we visit Tällberg in the future, and we highly recommend others to do the same.

We had a fabulous stay! We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

Overlooking Lake Siljan, this hotel is 1 km from Rättvik Train Station and the Storgatan shopping street. WiFi and parking are free. Access to a gym, hot tub and sauna is also free.

The grounds were really beautiful, with lots to explore. Room was very comfortable. There were also lots of lounge areas/libraries with good views of the lake. Breakfast was included and very good. Staff were very welcoming and told me about the local area and hikes to do.
