It is difficult to describe the good vibes at this place… it feels like home or visiting family with a first class mountain view. The care and hospitality is tangible at Valter & Drita’s - John and Mary are exceptional hosts and the food produced in their mother’s kitchen is fantastic and you can taste the love. The homemade pickle salad and cheese pie were so good! All the food was outstanding - simple but really tasty. Breakfast is buffet style and caters to savoury and sweet palettes. Great coffee and Mary and John will cater to any dietary requests happily. Evening meals on the terrace with jaw dropping views were a real highlight after a day hiking in the beautiful region of Theth. The stars and moon are so close as the property is located high on a mountainside. It’s a very private sanctuary. The room was spotlessly clean, linen was lovely and the bathroom facilities were great. This place ticks all the necessary boxes re facilities but the people are what make a stay memorable. Go and visit these people - you won’t regret it. Two nights was definitely not long enough for us and we hope to return again in the future.

The room was big with a balcony The reception was super nice, they gave us a doggy bag for breakfast. The parking is free during your stay but we needed to let our car 3 more days, so we paid 5€. Spar supermarket 100m away (best supermarket we’ve come across in a week in Albania). 10min walk from downtown so good position. Incredible value for money
