It didnt feel like a hotel room - it felt like truly a home. Everything was cozy and very beautifully decorated and there was absolutely everything you could ask for, from regional maps to duct tape. The whole first floor is yours, so there is a lot of space.

Overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the 4-star hotel Weinrefugium Brolli is located 5 km from the centre of Gamlitz. We only stayed one night at Weinrefugium Brolli on our way down to Croatia, but that was more than enough to experience the charm and warmth of this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding – genuinely welcoming and attentive. Our room was spacious, modern, and offered stunning views over the vineyards – a perfect place to unwind. Dinner was a true highlight, with fantastic food and excellent wine pairing recommendations that really elevated the experience. All in all, a memorable short stay – we would love to come back for a longer visit!

As always, and we went there 8 years ago for the first time. Amazing setting, splendid personal service, super modern 4 pax apartment with a terrace, deck chairs and stunning view.

Set in the centre of the wine village Gamlitz along the South-Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute walk from the castle, Hotel am Marktplatz - Landgasthof Wratschko - Gamlitz offers fine Styrian and... Although I’ve stayed just for 1 night passing through on my journey I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. They also allowed me to have breakfast earlier in order to leave - very rich breakfast and nice restaurant I’ve experienced for dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place, wish I’d have had more time to explore - next time :)

I arrived late at night when there was no one at reception, but the key of the room and the check-in form were waiting for me. I could use the sauna, I was alone, it was great after a long trip. Room size is much larger, than usual. The breakfast was nice. The staffs were very kind and smiling in the morning.

Gästehaus Lisa is set in Deutschlandsberg, 47 km from Casino Graz, 47 km from Eggenberg Palace, as well as 48 km from Graz Clock Tower. We had a wonderful stay ! We stayed in a family room with a beautiful view overlooking the winery fields, which made the experience even more special. Our 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved the children’s room upstairs, filled with plenty of toys that kept her entertained and happy throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and really gave us a taste of the local flavors. What made it even more memorable was the warmth and kindness of the Austrian family hosting us – they were so welcoming that it truly felt like staying in a home away from home. Highly recommended for families looking for a cozy and authentic countryside experience!
