Tehúsið Hostel & Guesthouse has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Egilsstadir. Location is excellent in the small town of Egilstadir. Nearby the stunning Vok baths. It is a 2 minute walk from the (very small) town centre with restaurant/cafe type of thing as the cheapest option. It is also next to a supermarket. The accom itself has a cafe inside which unfortunately doesn't open until 10am, but the person thankfully made us some coffees around 9am. Rooms were big enough and comfortable beds and pretty good sound proofing. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but bathrooms were also good.

We stayed with seven friends. The spaces were adequate, the equipment excellent and the cleanliness excellent. We had the whole house at our disposal. Amazing atmosphere!
