Everything was new and it semelles amazing. The caretaker was very polite and cooked is incredible dinner. If you want to do the Safari, this place is perfect. We booked a Safari with getyourguide but you can also book directly with them.

10 km from Pidurangala Rock in Habarana, Priyavimana resort provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and spa facilities. We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

Great location, near to many stupas of Anuradhapura. Very nice hotel and surrounding, hotel has its own garden, sometimes, peacocks visit the hotel area. Calm and quiet. Very helpful staff. Nice swimming pool. Tasty breakfast.

Situated in Habarana, 12 km from Pidurangala Rock, Bangalawa Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The resort is located in the nature, which means you have the possibility to experience and see different animals (especially birds). The pool and food was great. The owner organized a private bird watching tour at the Haparana lake, which was great and even for free. The owner even managed to organize 1st class tickets for a train ride from Kandy to Ella with short notice when everyone else failed to do so! The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful! It is very rare to find a staff like this! We highly recommend this place and would be more than happy to return to this resort again.

The location of this property is awesome, in the middle of a jungle—a nice, calm, and quiet place to spend the vacation. A range of choices for food, and they were very delicious. The staff was amiable and helpful. Highly recommended
