Dar Toda - Zagora guest house is a recently renovated guest house in Zagora, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This place was amazing!! I made the reservation accidentally not knowing they were undergoing renovations, but the owner still let me stay there. He was so kind and accommodating. He made me tea and made the room up very comfortably for me. Even though they were renovating, the place was gorgeous and very clean. I HIGHLY recommend!!! (Also there’s an adorable kitty named couscous who loves getting pets 🥰)

Camp Sahara Dunes is situated in Mhamid and offers a shared lounge. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

Located in Mhamid, Chegaga Desert Trips offers accommodation with a balcony. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everything was perfect.. the camel crossing was unique, as well as dinner and breakfast.. the next day I decided to take a 4×4 tour with Mohammed through nomad villages, dunes and mines. We also did a tour to the Chegaga desert. fabulous!! The tent then, a luxury for the desert!!

Mhamid Sahara Camp - Mhamid El Ghizlane is situated in Mhamid and offers a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Wonderful real desert experience!!! You can get there by normal car (no 4x4 needed) though you have to drive carefully as the last part of the way is a gravel road. Larbi is a great host who will tell you about the real nomad life. The conditions are basic but it is close to real nomad life not in a style of a luxury tent. Bright stars at night, quietness and a very nice and honest host. I am sure one day we will be back to go with him to Erg Chegaga. Thank you Larbi for your kindness and stories you shared with us.

Beautiful property. A real oasis in the desert. The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. It’s like a home away from home. So sad to leave and will be back again! Highly recommend.

We loved the Japanese toilets. The ceiling in our room was beautiful. We were thrilled with the hotel.

The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Aït Ben Haddou, Riad Tigmi du Soleil is a guest house surrounded by views of the city. The property is authentic, clean, suuuuper calm. We liked the decoration and the multiple spacious living rooms and the terrace. We loved reading in the living room in the mornings. The host was super responsive and nice. Zero noise at night, we simply slept for 9 hours straight and woke up to the sun lights. After that, we had a Moroccan breakfast ready in the terrace.
