Couldn't recommend enough and a special shout out to Wilson for looking after us so well!

Situated in Entebbe, 100 metres from Kitubulu Forest and Beach, De Rain Eco Beach Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. I had a wonderful stay at De Rain Uganda Hostel! The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and the location – close to the lake and surrounded by nature – made it the perfect place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I felt at home. They helped me arrange local activities and transport, and gave great recommendations for places to visit nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces – perfect for watching sunsets or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. The food was fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend De Rain Hostel to anyone looking for a calm, authentic, and affordable place to stay in Uganda. I hope to return one day! Very clean rooms and nice pool. Very friendly staff. Convenient location near the airport and easy to get to Kampala from here. Was welcomed warmly by the team of Jovia, Ketra and Hamza and other staff as well throughout the stay made me feel very welcome and made me wish I could stay longer. Unfortunately it was a quick work trip but will definitely be back and will recommend highly for those coming into Uganda.
