Ngurah Rai International Airport offers easy access to Bali’s southern tourist spots, and is just 2 miles (3 kilometres) from Kuta’s resort centre and 8 miles (13 kilometres) from Denpasar. A taxi will take around 35 minutes to reach Denpasar and cost about IDR 125,000, while a taxi to Kuta costs around IDR 80,000.

Kuta has fallen out of favour compared to newer destinations such as Seminyak, Canggu and Uluwatu. So there is less of a fun vibe in Kuta now in comparison. Accomdation prices in Kuta are lower to compensate for this so you get excellent value in Kuta. Kuta/Tuban are also very convenient for surfers who want close and easy access to Kuta Reef, Airport Lefts/Rights, etc.Guest review byRolandAustralia - 10.0
We liked the central location in Legian.
We liked the central location in Legian. Hawkers should not attend hotel, this is rest time from shopping and bartering. Pad on Bene was our favourite place to eat anytime. Good food.Fat Tony’s burgers great. Water BOM amazing, our son went 4 times during our stay with great water slides. Traffic congestion to Changu and Ubud was horrendous. I love Legian, the beach is magic.

The location is very convenient, especially if you're flying in or out—just a short distance from the airport. The staff were friendly, and the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler. I appreciated the small touches like bottled water, coffee, sugar, and tea, plus a nice terrace. On the downside, breakfast wasn’t included, the towel looked a bit dirty (possibly due to its color), and there’s no elevator. The pool water didn’t seem very clean, and the air conditioning wasn’t as cold as expected. Love the hustle bustle of Legian, we always come back to the same area. Our favourite tattoo shop is Ketut at Black Dragon on Jl padma timur no 7 and our favourite amazing massage place is Rehat day spa underneath the GrandMas hotel. We love bartering with all the local shops and there are heaps of fixed price shops if you just want to shop in peace (like the 100% genuine fake shop opposite Mecure Legian) Sooooooo many food options such as The Deck (yummy satays), The Daily Habit (amazing waffles) or The Pad on Bene (dragonfruit smoothie for the win) and Kenji (Japanese), amazing coffee at Crema or Coffee Melbourne and ice creams at all the little streetside shops.Guest review byTaliaAustralia
