Located in Labuan Bajo, 1.4 miles from Wae Rana Beach, Exotic Komodo Hotel has accommodations with a garden and free private parking. I became very dehydrated after a tour....first an employee walked with me to the little store that was in their parking lot. When the store did not have what I needed, another employee took me to local pharmacy AND drove me across the street to airport.

Bertus GuestHouse offers accommodations in Labuan Bajo, 1.3 miles from Wae Rana Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi. The accommodation is non-smoking. The host was friendly and helpful. We were basically only there to sleep at the head and tail ends of our 3d2n cruise in Komodo and to hold any of our luggage while we went on the cruise. It's a short walk across the airport, although down a rough gravel road, then an alley.

D'Ru Guest House offers accommodations in Labuan Bajo. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a terrace. We particularly enjoyed the welcoming of the family. We felt like we were home. The facilities are also really good (Ac, bathroom, coffee - tea maker...) It is really easy to rent a scooter and go explore labuan Bajo. The gueshouse is located in a nice and quiet place, not far from batu cermin.
The set of islands and Komodo National Park off of Labuan Bajo have stunning marine life; ideal for snorkeling, scuba-diving and hiking. It's definitely worth exploring these remote island via multi-day boat trip. Look for decent boat sleeping arrangement, and guides that has extensive experience of the area to spot manta ray, turtles, dolphins and other sea creatures.
It was a stopover for our tour of the Komodo Islands. Looks like there was great seafood in restaurants which we would have liked to try, but too late to make reservations. If we return we will choose a location closer to town so we can explore what it has to offer.
SO many incredible things to do in and around the area. The people were so kind and we did our PADI open water course with Dive Tribe Komodo. We did a day trip of the islands around and that was fantastic.
This is my first time to Labuan Bajo and I enjoyed very much at Padar Island to see the panoramic view. Beautiful crystal clear water at several islands. Also very interesting visiting the Komodo National Park to see the Komodo dragons.
Highly HIGHLY recommend the 3D2N liveaboard to see multiple islands, pink beach, the Komodo dragons, Padar island with the beautiful hike for the view, and snorkeling throughout. We got to see baby sharks the last day and swim with them! It was amazing! Also highly recommend Cunca Wulang waterfall, Rangko cave, and the Mirror Stone cave. I do wish that I got to walk around the harbor and all the shopping around it but all the natural beauty was well worth the trip!
I came for diving - going on a short Liveaboard for 3 days and doing 3 days of shore diving. The place is on the cusp of turning towards the dark side of tourism ghetto that is overbearing, but at the moment it's worth visiting. I would have stayed for another day, but airlines serving the airport (Komodo International Airport) do what they want. My flight there was delayed 2 hours and my flight leaving to connect with an international flight was rescheduled less than 48 hours before departure. It meant i had to leave the day before because there was no way i'd make the connection. People working there told me my experience is a common one - giving much worse examples. For less experienced divers, be aware currents are common - some very strong.
This place is absolutely incredible. I almost don't want to write a review because it's so magical that I want to keep it a secret. This was one of the best views we had in all of LBJ. The staff made it easy to rent a scooter from here and the ride into town was less that 10 mins. AMAZING! The small pool is perfect for chilling and I love the two story bungalows. Just incredible! One of my favorite places in all of Indonesia.
There's a shuttle from the airport to hotel which is super convenient! The food at the hotel restaurant is so good and affordable & pair it with the view, insane!!! my room was so spacious and the heater works totally fine. It's a bit far from the centre but LBJ is small, rent a scooter and you will be in the centre in 6 mins. The sunset from my balcony remained one of the best memories I ever had.
Hotel is nicely appointed with hot water, AC, decent breakfast, and comfortable room. Location is central and walkable to center. Only downside is poor sound proofing, and situated close to mosque (realistically, anywhere in central LBJ is not immune from the excessively loud morning prayers). Bring earplugs. Tap water is sweet because tap water at Komodo Suites is brackish.
Labuan Bajo
Clean, beds were comfy, staff is so nice and incredibly helpful. The hostel is so close to all good shops and food in town. Would recommend for visiting LBJ!
