Naples International Airport (NAP) Information
Location and Transport
Naples International Airport is located 3 miles (5 kilometres) northeast of central Naples, in the Capodichino district of the city. It is easily reached either by bus or taxi. The Naples Alibus shuttles between the airport, the city centre and central train station, departing every 20-30 minutes. A taxi will cost EUR 40 and take about 15 minutes.

There is a special ‘capsule’ hotel – the first-ever to open in Italy – inside the airport, and several other hotels within 5 kilometres, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. A free shuttle service is provided by some hotels. Naples is a very beautiful destination for a three-day trip.
Naples is a very beautiful destination for a three-day trip. You have enough time to explore the whole city and see all its monuments. A day trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius is absolutely worth it — you’ll see sights you’ll probably never experience again in your life. However, the city is quite dirty, and there doesn’t seem to be much effort from the local authorities to keep it cleaner. Finally, getting around on foot or by public transport is ideal, as there’s a lot of traffic on the roads, especially during rush hours, and drivers don’t seem to follow any traffic rules — they drive like crazy!Guest review byNIKOLETAGreece - 10.0
