We didn't met the property manager as it was a complete self check-in / check-out process. However the instructions was so clear and communications was so good, and everything worked out smoothly, that we felt we knew the manager and want to say thanks to him! : ) Everything in the hotel was well thought-out and well-managed. The theme of the hotel is 'airport' and is consistent through out. The bathroom facilities were in great condition. The room and the bathroom were of very good size. The lovely little area outside the rooms was great for reading or eating dinner. We sit there to eat our takeout dinner, it's marvelous in the evening. The neighbor's dog stopped by to say Hi on the other side of the fence. Breakfast was unattended, but the blind and coffee machine were programmed to start automatically at 4am, just at the right time. You can get a breakfast from a selection of bread, biscuits, spread, cereal and yoghurt. The hotel is just 5-10-min walk to the terminal, depending on the luggage you have and walking speed. Perfect for those catching an early morning flight. We really appreciate the efforts and thoughts put into running this hotel, thank you!

Very close to the airport, 5 minutes walk from the terminal. The staff was very friendly, they even gave us cornettos for breakfast even though it was not included in the booking. It is underrated on Booking.com for some reason, so it exceeded our expectations. Right in front of the bus stop of bus line 182 which connects the neighbourhood with the city centre.

Nice and convenient apartment for our short stay in Naples. Our host Paolo was really helpful with the apartment itself and with the information where to eat and so on. Location is really handy as the airport is on the walkable distance, and the public bus runs between the city and the airport. For the car rentals (as we had), the position is really central as the car drop/pick-up is just behind the corner. We had a short stay before ending our longer Puglia trip before flying back to home but would not hesitate to come back in the future for next Italy trip.

Naples International Airport (NAP) Information

Location and Transport

Naples International Airport is located 3 miles (5 kilometres) northeast of central Naples, in the Capodichino district of the city. It is easily reached either by bus or taxi. The Naples Alibus shuttles between the airport, the city centre and central train station, departing every 20-30 minutes. A taxi will cost EUR 40 and take about 15 minutes.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There is a special ‘capsule’ hotel – the first-ever to open in Italy – inside the airport, and several other hotels within 5 kilometres, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. A free shuttle service is provided by some hotels. Naples Airport (known as ‘Aeropuerto Napoli’ in Italy) offers a range of useful passenger services, including free WiFi, currency exchange, luggage protection, travel agencies and prayer rooms.

Terminal Information

Naples International Airport has two terminals, connected by a pedestrian walkway. There is no inter-terminal shuttle bus.

    Naples is vibrant, hectic, chaotic in parts, but enormously atmospheric and beautiful. The traffic needs care if you are a pedestrian. The history , architecture and people are exhilarating. The art and food are amazing. Throw in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum nearby, what more could you want? The local trains an busses make getting about easy. However, to get the most of your visit you need to do a bit of planning, especially if time is limited....there's a lot to see!!

    This city is so different to any other Italian city we have...

    This city is so different to any other Italian city we have visited before. It’s a bit rough round the edges and the graffiti is everywhere but look beyond that and enjoy. We met some really friendly locals, had some great food and enjoyed some amazing historical buildings. Bring some comfortable shoes and explore.

    Naples is one of the few European cities I did not exactly...

    Naples is one of the few European cities I did not exactly fall in love with. It is crowded, noisy and dirty. However, they do indeed offer some of the best pizza and pasta I ever had, if you follow good recommendations. There is also great shopping: Italian fashion at very reasonable prices and I found the locals to be very kind and approachable.
