Once you've done the tower and cathedral, pay 5 euros more and walk the city walls for a quiet hour away from the crowds with great views of the city. You finish down by the river, and can then return through fascinating old streets to the centre.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Valentina was a great host.
Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.Guest review byMa Christine LorraineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
I flew to Pisa to trek through the Cinque Terre.
I flew to Pisa to trek through the Cinque Terre. The city is home to more than just the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. It also boasts numerous monuments to prominent Italians and beautiful ancient architecture. In the city, you can buy groceries at supermarkets or visit a café to sample traditional Tuscan cuisine, drink delicious coffee, and sample desserts. I ate at the café "Bar & Food 62." Tuscan soup was 12 euros, baked eggplant with Parmesan was 12 euros, and a glass of white wine was 6 euros.Guest review byNataliUkraine - 10.0

Pisa has enough interest to spend one day at the sights and exploring the city. It is nice that the main attractions are all in one place, on the Field of Miracles. Unfortunately, the cathedral was closed the day we visited. Pisa is close to Lucca and Florence; both worth a side trip by train- one day for Lucca a few for Florence.Guest review byGuillotUnited States
