The rooms are also finished to a very high standard, with sumptuous bedding which was very welcome after the hours spent hiking and trekking in the forest! The hotel is about an hour's drive by car / moto taxi from Nyungwe Uwinka reception where most walks/treks begin, which made it the perfect place to start from. I hope I will return again one day. Thank you for making my time in Nyungwe so special.

First off, it’s beautifully located right on Lake Kivu and is so relaxed and feels very safe with their own security. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has a great bathroom and patio. Moreover, the staff was outstanding and so attentive and communicative. And the food was outstanding on property. Breakfast is included so make sure to enjoy it. We also loved our dinner.
