The Apartments were cosy and clean.The Waterfall in the yard is very refreshing and must to try:).Also, the view all around the house and if you go a little bit up(especially in the evening) is breathtaking.Moreover , there are many beautiful hiking places around.Many thanks to the host Richard who made this stay more memorable.Its definitely the place where you would like to come back someday. Very friendly family runs the hotel. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast is Super. It’s the perfect place to spend your vacation specially if you have kids. The playground is amzing as well. We can’t really get over how sweet this family is, specially anny, even with our child. I highly recommand this place. you will not regret it.

We stayed only a few days but were absolutely satisfied. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent – a wide selection and delicious. We would be happy to come back.

The host is very articulate and knowledgeable. He is very much a people person and makes the stay very pleasant for people. Nothing it too much trouble. The meals were excellent and generous, and well priced. The restaurant was run very smoothly and again the personalities of the chef (and again the host who also works within the restaurant at night and is the host at breakfast) were very much a part of the enjoyable experience. The location was beautiful. Lovely family run pensione.

The apartment was a real surprise for us, spacy, clean, modern, with a separate room with the table, small stove, where you can eat, read, play the games. Also what is good that there are many hooks to hang the clothes. Someone thought properly when reconstructing this apartment. The cook in the kitchen is Slovakian and cooks perfectly. All food was exceptionally good than in the traditional Austrian kitchen. Also the hotel has very nice relaxing sauna area.

VAYA Gerlos was a very pleasant surprise for us. First, we were very warmly received at the reception, we received very useful information about the area and the activities and we had a Summer Card for several touristic attractions. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need, including coffee machine, dishwasher, electric oven, etc. The area is superb. We had daily activities, like trips by motorcycle (in Gerlos area and also in Bavaria), going up the mountain by gondola, going to the Krimml waterfall (the biggest waterfall in Europe) and so on. At 5 minutes walking distance, there is a supermarket SPAR and there are several nice restaurants. The location has also a sauna where you can relax in the afternoon. For us is was perfect in many aspects. We will stay at Vaya for sure when we will be back in this area.
