Excellent situation in Foix for sightseeing and shopping. The hosts did an excellent job in providing a gluten-free and lactose-free breakfast for my partner and explaining how to turn on the electric hob (we use gas at home!). The small kitchen area had everything needed to create a simple gourmet dinner with the excellent produce available in the excellent variety of shops in Foix. Parking for the car in the street was at most 50m away.

This place is a gem for a stay in rural Ariege and a base to tour . it consists of an apartment in what was once a farm. the dwelling is superb in its comfort, amenities, spaciousness and view of the surroundings. there is a charming garden with an elegant outdoor gathering space and a small swimming pool. Lovely little place! Not too cramped for a studio, with a beautiful view of the castle, right by the train station and an easy walk (<5 minutes) to the center of town. Excellent quality for the price.
