The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. The hotel is not the biggest one but it has a lot more than expected of services provided such as board games, books, dvd, ice box, pram, trolley, bicycles. They also have a private bbq in the room balcony.

Location was very convenient, very quiet but still close to beach and shops. Apartment was nicely furnished and noteingewiesen was missen. Right around the corner from the street that runs from the beach to the harbor with so many restaurants and shops. Parking was easy in a neighborhood basically

Just 100 metres from Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas Apartments - Adults Only Oasis is an adults only, non-smoking property featuring an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and BBQ area set in beautiful gardens. All air-conditioned apartments have a private balcony. The apartment is a two minute walk to 4 mile beach. It is located on the Main Street of Port Douglas but is very quiet. The apartment is large with a separate bedroom. The living room has a couch plus a dining table with chairs. The kitchen had everything I needed. There was a bbq area downstairs that I used a couple of times to grill steaks from Malones Butcher Shop. There is a free laundry room with three washers and dryers. The pool was refreshing on the muggy days. I booked two tours through the apartment and I was happy with both. My airport shuttle pick up was scheduled for noon. Normally, check out time is 10 am but they let me stay in the apartment until the shuttle arrived at noon. Sonia and Robin were great hosts.

Pool Port Douglas Resort offers a selection of elegant, modern apartments, all spacious, self contained and nestled around a glittering, 185 metre central swimming lagoon. There are also two smaller lap pools that overlook the surrounding mountains & golf course. We had a fantastic 4 night stay as a family of 5 in a 3 bed apartment. Just wish we had stayed longer! The two ladies on reception were fantastic and helped arrange tours, gave us ideas and pointed us in the right direction so we had a fabulous stay in port Douglas. The pool(s) itself is incredible, Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a big pool! It was always spotless, and even when lots of other villas were in it still felt empty as it’s so big! Absolutely perfect for a morning or evening swim after all the activities PD has to offer. We loved the self catering apartment and it was really well stocked so we could cook a couple of evenings. Would absolutely stay again if I was in PD. Also really easy to get into town in the paid shuttle so not a problem not being central.

Mike was very welcoming and took time to orientate us and share lots of information about Port Douglas. Very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Here you can enjoy the beach lifestyle and elegance which gives this Queensland resort its reputation as the ultimate holiday playground. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.
