I am shocked it’s not more crowded. Grant was super nice, accommodating, and informative. Looking forward to next summer!

JR Hakuba Train Station is a 5-minute drive away. Free in-room WiFi is offered. Best location on the mountain if you’re a skier or boarder! Truely ski in & ski out. Great kitchen, hot shower and plenty of space to store things. Naoko went out of her way to make sure sheets and towels were changed and we could check in (very late) which was amazing! So many great food spots around - would stay here again in a heart beat!

However not easy to find on arrival because we don’t understand the street numbering, and the hotel is not locatable on Google Maps. The place is recently furnished, clean and quite modern. The room is very very basic - only beds. Shared toilets & shower. Communal kitchen. laundromat.

Fabulous place to visit to relax and enjoy the scenery. The host was very helpful and super friendly. The Vietnamese food cooked by the host was delicious and if you're lucky you might get a free dinner or two. The host was so nice she even offered to drop off my wife and pick her up at an event my wife was attending giving me time to relax at the pensions garden. Looking forward to visiting Hanoi pension again.

A tiny room with just enough room for 4 Japanese style beds next to each other. My feet even touched the table. I knew Japan was usually cramped, but I couldn't imagine it could be this small. This was my mistake. Never coming back to this area!
