This is a great apartment, and everything is well thought out. The kitchen is fully equipped (almost like at home) with oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, cleaning sponges, a dishwasher, and a large cutting board. The bathroom provides all necessary toiletries, and a washing machine and dryer are also available. There is a fold-out sofa bed in the living/dining area, which was comfortable to sleep on. Communication before and after our stay was clear and smooth. There’s a free parking space in front of the building. The harbor (for whale watching) is just five minutes away, and the local brewery Húsavík Öl is also within walking distance. Just a tip: the local grocery store closes quite early, so keep that in mind if you're arriving late.

Location was wonderful. in front of the whales cruises stations and underneath there is a very nice coffee place to eat breakfast in. The apartment is spacious and we could wash our clothes there too.

The location was excellent for visiting the sights. The check-in process was straightforward, and all the details were clearly explained in the message we received prior to our arrival. The place was neat and clean when we got there, with fresh towels and bed linens available. The kitchenette was well-equipped and included coffee and creamer. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We were stuck because of the snow storm and found this guesthouse nearby, and the owners provide some soup for us. They where travelling back from their event for us so we are very grateful
