The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was also, and the bathroom was a good size, with a nice shower. The added bonus of a washing machine was much appreciated, as we had been traveling for some time. A full breakfast was not part of the rental at Chalet Frodo, but the kitchen was sufficient for our needs. The hosts did provide instant coffee and some nice cookies. Also, the outdoor space was very nice, and and parking was super convenient. As the name implies, the location of Chalet Frodo was perfect for visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set. Finally, the cat, Mr. Pickles, was a most welcoming host!

There's free private parking, and the property provides a paid airport shuttle service.

I have answered all these questions, but don't know if you received my answers as my computer lost all power. Our time at Hazel's was really good, we were even able to use the outdoor area which was great. Loved the decor and the organised kitchen which had a plunger coffee which my Husband really enjoyed using, especially as you had some coffee for him to use. The biscuits were higher standard than the average rooms we had been before. As having driven for a few hours, the walk in shower was of a great comfort to us,

This was a great little spot, only 15 mins drive from Hobbiton and a lovely quiet country area. Julie we didn't meet you, but thanks for the lovely touches, a couple of beers and ciders, and the home made bread and condiments were just beautiful! The unit was so spacious, great shower, comfortable bed, and that cow pic on the wall was perfect! Love this place! Great country pub, the hot springs hotel, is 6km away and was also a winner, highly recommended.

This is a perfect place if you want to be near Hobbiton. The accommodations had everything we could need and more - a fully stocked kitchen, a washer, refrigerator, even another bed. Parking was a bit tight, but the owners have that sorted. There are restaurants very close, and we had the best Indian food we have ever tried while in town (I believe it was called Indian Fusion). I highly recommend D's as a great place to stay. The price was very reasonable!
