We were in Austria for a few days after our trip to the Tatra Mountains, as rail fans, we were pleasantly surprised to find a railway passing through the hotel car parks. there are regular freight train movements to the local Power Plant and the port on the river Danube. So a win win for us. Hotel staff, breakfast and Restaurant were excellent. Some good walks available on the golf course footpaths. We are not golfers, but it looks a nice location for those interested in the sport.

Incredible location in a historic house attached to a monastery wall, with views over the Danube River. Cozy bed in a room with a fantastic view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a really nice bathroom. Perfect location for trips in Wachau. Tip: if you need to walk with suitcases - Dürnstein Parkplatz P3 is the best solution (6 EUR/day).

Wonderful, picturesque, quiet location in small medieval village on the Danube. Spotlessly clean, recently refurbished, great breakfast spread included, honesty system for beverages at a bargain price. Loved the Wachau Valley and would go back, great for sightseeing, cycling, hikes. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Authentic restaurant right next door.

Arrived far too tired after a much delayed day and first went to the wrong key box, but it was soon resolved. The place is squeaky clean, very quiet and good to work in. Looks exactly as the photos, very comfortable. The heating comes on quickly, so you can go out all day and leave it off, then it gets warm within minutes as you switch the heating on. Very comfortable bed, with a good pillow - so important.

We were staying in Apt 1 and got clear guidance how to reach to the place, is really hidden gem for people looking some nature and quiet stay. House is adorable and has everything, newly and warm equipped, kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, coffee machine. Even though really warm days it is cool inside and fresh. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and heuriger. We had really wonderful stay and long weekend that want us to be back to Spitz again.
