Nice and generous hosts who answered every question and every request in an exceptional way. The host was very nice , and available for any request. We arrived early at the hotel and was welcomed nicely by the staff. He even let us check-in earlier since the room was ready. We had super awesome magnificent view from the room. On top of that, the hotel gladly arranged a simple surprise for my daughter birthday during our breakfast and also assist us for transfer to the Spiez station.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet-style property. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled between the mountains and the lake, it offers a postcard-perfect view right from the window. My room was cozy yet modern, with a comfy bed, a large TV, and a lovely balcony furnished with wooden chairs — perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views of both the lake and the surrounding Alps. The property itself has a charming, old-world wooden chalet design, giving it a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite the traditional style, the room was very well-maintained and felt fresh and comfortable. Getting to the property is super easy — it’s just a 4-minute bus ride from Spiez Bahnhof on the B60 bus, and the bus stop is conveniently located right across the street. The same bus line also takes you directly to Interlaken in the other direction, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The lake nearby is truly mesmerizing, perfect for a peaceful walk or just relaxing by the water. There’s even a lovely Greek restaurant just a short walk from the property, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and scenic getaway in the Swiss Alps.

The Seiler au Lac enjoys a peaceful location at the bank of Lake Brienz, with steamers and free buses to Interlaken stopping right in front of it.

The staff were very friendly. We arrived before 3pm which was the usual check in time but the room was already ready. We were also impressed by their efficiency as they were able to tidy up the room the next day while we had breakfast. Jean Paul at the restaurant is also very friendly. The view of the room is also fantastic!

The exclusive Neuhaus Golf- & Strandhotel is Interlaken’s only hotel calmly situated right at the picturesque Lake Thun, right next to the Neuhaus Ship Pier. The centre of Interlaken is 5 km away.
