Beachfront hotel offering an extraordinary view of the sea, which is particularly impressive when waking up in the morning. The beach was quite sheltered, as there were not many other guests at the time - and as the hotel only has seven units. The hosts were amazingly hospitable; they were always friendly and went the extra mile during our 3-day stay to help us with all kinds of requests. The facilities and some of the furniture were brand new and designed specifically for the hotel. In fact, the hotel only opened a few months ago, so it hasn't appeared on Google Maps yet. Breakfast is served at the affiliated Italian restaurant right next door. For context, this was a leisure trip with a family and a primary school child. We travelled by train.

The whole house is beautifully appointed, the bathroom was fantastic, and the bath size is very generous. We loved the massage chair and the relaxed feel of sitting around the kitchen island. You can stroll along the ocean nearby and the location is so quiet and peaceful.

The hotel itself is in a stunning location with a magnificent view of Amanohashidate and the sea. The hotel is incredible! Everything is very clean, everything is new, and the hotel staff is amazing, responsive, and kind. Breakfasts are a separate delight! If you've ever dreamed of completely immersing yourself in Japanese beauty, culture, and solitude, I definitely recommend this place. The public onsen at the hotel is very beautiful, the one in my room is also excellent. The views are simply incredible! During my big trip to Japan, this was the best place in terms of feeling. Very beautiful rooms in Japanese style. The view from the room to the lake was very nice. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff too.

Make sure your room specifies that you have a hotspring outdoor pool. Not all rooms have them. But it is a must have. Absolutely made our trip memorable. Amazing room, everything high class but definitely the private pool was epic.

This is a budget hotel, and you should take this in to account when planning your trip. However, the value for money of this place was excellent. They allowed us an early check-in free of charge due to the terrible weather outside, and provided everything we needed to make our stay in Amanohashidate a great one. We loved the place! The staff were friendly, and the location so close to the train station really couldn't be better. Access to the onsen next door was a great bonus.
