The villa was wonderful. We were a group of six people from three generations, and we spent most of our time in the pool. Unlike hotel pools, we were able to use the pool freely without worrying about time or other people. There is also a private beach downstairs. There is a large shopping mall in Okinawa, near the villa, which is very convenient. It was only 1000 yen one way by taxi.　 If you walk a bit down the street and use an app., you can pick one up in no time. If it is not summer, you may take a walk. We were able to do most of our shopping here, including souvenirs. Naha Airport is about 30 minutes away by cab. The villa was very clean, and everything was of a high standard and pleasant. The host, Sammy, was very helpful, and communication was smooth. We were provided with an extra mattress for one child. We will visit again if we have the chance.

Right on the beach next to Itoman Port, Southern Beach Hotel & Resort features 2 pools and an ocean-view buffet restaurant. Rooms have a balcony with ocean views.

This hotel was a great find. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our room was spacious and well-equipped. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the cheap, plentiful parking. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and is right by a beautiful beach.

The Senagajima Island Resort was a really fun place to stay. Having access to the bars, restaurants and shops downstairs was so much fun without having to go far. We lived the open air bath on the balcony, overlooking the ocean. The staff were truly amazing and very accomodating.

The bungalow was fantastic - very spacious and had everything we needed. The hosts, Aya and Danny, were lovely and very helpful. It’s a 2-minute walk to the beach, which is mainly frequented by locals, who are always up for a friendly chat. There are also lots of amenities nearby (an Aeon, a Daiso, a pancake place across the road, a playground, a fish market, etc.). If you are into surfing, make sure to book lessons with the surf school next door. It truly felt like a home to us and we were so sad to leave!

Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. They even provided us with mosquito spray! We were given a tour of all the amenities, including traditional Japanese features such as the tatami room. The house is spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need, not to mention a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The beach is just across the street, and the local fish market is just a few minutes' walk away. The area is surrounded by shops, including 7-Eleven and FamilyMart. The small private garden with the terrace is perfect for coffee in the morning, the ideal way to start your day in Okinawa!
