Even if you’re just sitting looking at the sea view it’s wonderful. I was made to feel so welcome and every need was met. The hosts went above and beyond, including arranging an Ayurvedic massage delivering me and picking me up after, and a bonus boat trip to the nearly beautiful lake to visit a gorgeous temple. His knowledge of what to do in Sri Lanka is vast and genuinely wants to help. And the food… next level, a home cooked Sri Lankan feast, the huge breakfast was spectacular so much fresh fruit. I was there in the quiet season and I loved that the area is not touristy, very friendly locals. I will definitely be coming back!

Exceptional villa design, extraordinary hospitality of Irosh and his family. We had an amazing time here, highly recommended. AC in every room, very clean rooms and bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, dining and living rooms. Breakfast was provided by the host’s mother - hand-cooked national dishes and fresh fruits every morning, all delicious!

Excellent location. It’s right on the beach. Our room was on ground floor and the balcony door opened straight to the beach. The beach is very less crowded and you can chill and relax with your loved one without any disturbance. The owners (Chathu and Ishaan) are very cordial and they helped us with everything. They also gave me their Kayak and I had a good fun taking kayak to the ocean. Breakfast is hugeeee and delicious. Wi-fi : is Available. The router was located just outside our room and we enjoyed strong wifi even on beach. 10/10. Totally recommended of you are looking for a serene beach villa with an extremely helpful owners and staff. Rooms: Spacious and cleaned. They provide electric kettle and 3-4 towels in room. Safety: Totally safe. Staff is very helpful. It feels like home. Walkability: 1 km from Ambalangoda bus stand and market. Zero metres from beach 😃 Food & drinks: Delicious and hugeee breakfast. There is a lot of variety and it seems you are having brunch (breakfast + lunch). Mrs.Chathu was so kind. She arranged fish and eggs for my wife on request.

The place is spacious and has everything you need: fresh bedsheets, AC, fresh towels, kitchen, fridge, plates, glasses etc. It was clean and comfy. 100% value for the price. The location is good, it is not next to the beach but a very short walking distance. probably 5 minutes. The host was very friendly, attentive and ready to help.

Everything’s new and super clean. It’s just 10min by foot from the bus station, you have even a kitchen and fridge you can use and the stuff is super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

We had a super nice stay at Wallama Villa and even extended it twice. Chandi and Amila are such warm hosts and we felt very comfortable with them. The room is clean and big enough. The bathroom very nice. They have comfortable mattresses so you can sleep well. It's nice and quiet at night and you can hear the sound of the waves. You can use the kitchen, which is very convenient. Everything is there to cook something. There are sunbeds to relax in the garden overlooking the sea. We had a great beach and it was nice to swim here at that time. In the evening there are often fabulous sunsets. Supermarket, train station and city center are within easy walking distance. We say thank you for the wonderful time and wish the dear family all the best for the future.
