It is located up ten flights of stairs. I am young and fit so I didn’t mind this at all. It was worth it for the view. I enjoyed watching sunsets at the pool. The staff was very friendly and they helped with everything we needed. The internet was fast enough that I was able to get all my work done! It was very clean and peaceful place to spend a vacation. The outdoor cat kept us company all week; which I really enjoyed.

We stayed in Villa Aikia for 4 night and we loved every moment. The Villa itself is beautifully located, a short walk away from the busy beaches. So it's really quiet. The view from our Suite with terrace was stunning. The pool is big and super nice, breakfast very delicious with a wide choice of dishes. But the best is the team. Max is the manager, he was always there and more than friendly and helpful. Thank you all so much for a wonderful time! We will definitely come back to beautiful Zipolite (!!!!!!) and will stay definitely at Villa Aikia. Highly recommended!

Our palapa was just in front of the beach with nothing but the ocean to watch from our terrace all day. Olimpia and the staff are absolutely lovely people. They treated us excellent and Carlos and Alejandro from the kitchen were even sweet enough to make special little things for our one-and-a-half-year-old baby boy. We recommend Cabañas Punta Placer all the way!

The hotel is absolutely outstanding. Perfect if you want some calm and truly relaxing time, without many tourists around you. The beach is pretty much exclusively used by this Hotel. However, you can be in Mazunte in 10 minutes by taxi or scooter. Here you don‘t miss a thing, as you have some small shops around and the kitchen is open all day. The food is really amazing, maybe the best octopus-salad I had in my life. Above all I have to mention the great and cool team of Casa Yati :) - really outstanding and sympathetic staff, doing everything to make your stay wonderful.
