This cottage was absolutely magical! We stayed for 6 nights and would have happily stayed longer. It is in a beautiful secluded coastal area with a lovely view, and was spectacularly well equipped with everything we needed. It was warm and comfortable, and we also enjoyed splitting wood for the antique heating stove (although there is electric heating as well). The cottage was so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and as we checked in over Easter weekend the hosts had made some really special Easter touches for us, which we loved!! It is in a great location with a supermarket under 10mins drive away, and close to multiple nature reserves for hiking (there is one 15 mins drive away!) - we picked it as we were in Sweden for a hiking holiday. The hosts were wonderful, welcoming, and really helpful and responsive as well. Staying here absolutely made our holiday, so thank you!!! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at the Forest house. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and took perfect care of everything. The apartment was super cozy. A perfect combination between traditional looks equipped with modern amenities. The location was unbelievably beautiful too. Located on a river that flows into the sea. The personal touch and exceptional service from the hosts made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing and homely stay. Will definitely return!

After having travelled globally for over 40 years this is one of the absolutely nicest places I’ve ever stayed at! Stunning views from the beautiful historic villa; adorable, charming and friendly staff; delicious food and great wines; breakfast - personally chosen and delicious - presented in a picknique basket- how brilliant and tasteful!; beds were wonderfully comfortable!
