Great little cabanas to share with just one other person or group. Hosts were SUPER accommodating and lovely per all other reviews and always checked that everything was okay. We really appreciated them helping to find the strongest wifi on the property for an interview.

Takarua Lodge features certain rooms with sea views, and each room comes with a balcony. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. This is such a charming little lodge in the most perfect location. You are literally overlooking the coast and an Ahu with Moais from your bed and terrace, and the town is in walking distance. No car needed…you step out of the airport, and somebody is holding a sign with your name and takes you to the hotel. Our room was nicely furnished, had a well functioning AC and a spacious modern bathroom with separate toilet. The staff is just lovely and very friendly and helpful. They don’t have a breakfast room,, so breakfast is served on your terrace. Can’t get any better than this, and all at a very reasonable price!

Beautiful wooden interior, huge space, comfy beds, free fruits, a sea view and have its own one of a kind moai (its carved out of red rock, thr head is in thr museum literally next door). Rene the owner is really helpful and friendly. It seems a little far from town but there is a shortcut if you are on foot, it only takes 5 minutes to get to Ahu Tahai, the famous sunset spot.
