The building was safe with security cameras and secure front gate door with coded entry. The Wifi was better than my Rogers at home in Ontario Canada. Fully functional kitchen made cooking some meals a breeze.

Samara Beach is 700 metres from the hostel. Nosara Airport is 25 km away. I've stayed at Casa Terra for almost 4 weeks because I went to Intercultura Language School nearby to learn Spanish. I felt very comfortable and at home at Casa Terra. It was always very clean. Also, I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and since it was not on the main road, it was really quiet at night. The walk to the beach is about 8 minutes, the walk downtown around 15 minutes. The volunteers Constance and Carolina as well as the owners were always happy to help with questions and organizing tours and often hung out with us at the hostel. I can fully recommend staying there.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, well decorated, bed was super comfy, great AC. The kitchen is super well equipped; even though we didn’t use it, I assume there is everything you might want or need. The pool was a wonderful addition on hot days! We also spent a few days in the containers, which were equally comfortable, though much smaller

TABASCO is a pleasant Mexican-style oasis with friendly French hosts, uniquely located near the beach, restaurants, and bars. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the generous breakfast but also by the fact that they served freshly baked pastries made by their own hands. I also appreciated that they lent me beach chairs, provided beach towels, and even did quite a lot of my laundry. Other small details—like ice cubes in containers or insect repellent—only added to the thoughtful care the hosts showed. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially liked that there were two sinks in the bathroom. I highly recommend it.
