The property has lake and garden views, and is 45 km from Kirkjufoss. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. This property was in a remote location but very near the Hengifoss waterfall which was our next stop. Beautiful valley views. Cozy small and comfortable apartment.

The holiday home has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. Jón is a very friendly and talkative host, gladly sharing information about the region, Iceland etc. with guests. The room was small but more than suffucient, the facilities, kitchen and wash room were everything we needed.

Situated in the coastal village of Breiddalsvík, Hotel Breiddalsvik offers a large terrace with an open fireplace and rooms with a satellite TV and work desk. The Icelandic Route 1 Highway passes right by the hotel. A wonderful stay. I had a large beautiful room and bathroom. Everything was spotless. There is a spacious room near the lobby with a beautiful fireplace and large comfy sofas. I ate at the restaurant and had the best grilled chicken ever in my life ! The owners are lovely people and helped me alot with ideas of where I should go.

At the hotel, each room includes a desk. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Álfheimar Hotel also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a sea view. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. The wooden construction had 10 rooms in a row. Our room was spacious, well decorated and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was very tasty and of good quality. We are sorry that we did not eat in the restaurant as the menu looked delicious. Location is next to the puffin.
