The little town was lovely and easy to navigate - all rooms had AC, dinner one night at the steakhouse was very good- we had wedding plans the rest of the time, or we would have gone every night.

She was always on hand to offer help and advice and make our stay as pleasant as possible. We can recommend this hotel without restriction and will definitely be back. Thoughtful, caring, with a lot of attention to detail; just true hosts. Beds - comfy, perfect for a good sleep. Bathroom - good shower, good lighting, fluffy and good quality towels. Kitchen - everything that is needed and then some, coffee machine was putting a smile onto our faces in the morning. Entertainment - 2 tvs, Netflix, many language tv stations. Privacy - second to none.

It is set 27 km from Madurodam and offers bicycle parking. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Chickens and sheep in the garden! The house itself at first glance seems somewhat out of the way, but in fact the location is excellent for daytrips by car to any of the cities and attractions in the area. Keukenhof 10 minutes, Den Haag 40 minutes, Amsterdam 45 minutes, just ideal. The house is lovely, spacious, bright and airy. One bedroom plus toilet and shower on ground floor, 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. The kitchen is well-equipped. Paulette and her partner are wonderful hosts--friendly, kind, and communicative. Highly recommend this stay.

What an absolute gem! Annett was so kind. The room was WAY nicer that I expected, backing onto a quiet canal and a church, right in the heart of Wassenaar. I am an insomniac so I sleep badly and not for long. The bed was so comfortable, I slept ten hours straight! I want to move in! I wish I were staying longer. So comfortable and clean and safe. This is a lovely, family-run place. Great for anyone visiting friends or companies in Wassenaar, who want a place of their own to chill. Shops and Centre a six minute walk away. I cannot say how wonderful it was to sleep. And, there are two duvets on the bed so your partner can sausage roll in one and not leave you uncovered. And breakfast is included!!
