It’s one of the best accommodations we had in South Africa. Jacqueline and Marco are incredibly nice and very helpful. The hostel and the room were very clean. We even extended our stay for an extra night. I can definitely recommend this place!

Schulphoek Seafront House is elegantly decorated with original mid-century art and furniture, and has spacious well-appointed modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The house offers a complimentary shuttle service in an around Hermanus and a concierge desk. It’s all very new and clean. The room is BIG. Very technological. The shower is good. The staff is very friendly. Loved it!! I proposed to my then girlfriend (now fiancée) in one of the rooms, with the view of the ocean!!

The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!

Fantastic location, charming hotel with old fashioned luxury coastal vibe coupled with modern amenities. Staff were particularly exceptional and helpful. Loved everything about it!

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the apartment's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. it is self catering, it would be nice if they could at least serve people with breakfast.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean, with a luxurious bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There were thoughtful touches and the location is ideal! Close to good restaurants, the Cliff Path, and whale watching spots. The area felt safe and peaceful. If we ever return to Hermanus, we’ll definitely book this place again!

This apartment offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and inner courtyard. The stay was perfect, just like the photos. You can walk less than 5 min to the beach. The location is perfect and you can also do some hikes nearby. The complimentary wine was a very nice touch. Definitely recommend it!

The host was amazing, helping us with various request for Betty’s bay like restaurants and safe routes to drive. Also a very cute house that has everything you need, and so many nice small bonuses like that they already prepared cold filtered water in the fridge. Also perfect location, very short drive for the restaurants in one end and the stony point penguins in the other. And also the most beautiful view with the mountains. We had a perfect stay, also very much recommend the Waaygat restaurant to anyone else, it was a really great restaurant
