Amazing Belle Èpoque mansion in a conservation area that is evocative of better times. De Haan must surely be one of the best preserved Golden Age seaside towns in the world, you feel as if you have walked into a French Impressionist painting, such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the Belgium coast. Steps away from the action, and on the way to the beach these are whole streets lined with amazing grand mansions. At Masion Rebelais you are greeted with an invitation to sit to enjoy a tea/coffee and homemade cake in the lounge or terrace. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, service is attentive & nothing is overlooked, you are even invited to return for afternoon tea if you’re still in the area. A stop on the coast not to be missed.

We had a wonderful experience! The place is exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. We loved our stay at the Villa D'Hondt! I would recommend it to anyone going to Blankenberge. Veerle is an amazing host. Everything was amazing. Beautiful house and garden. Perfect distance from the beach. Breakfast was so yummy. Definitely book a holiday here! You will be glad that you did. This was my Great Grandfather's house. He was mayor of Blankenberge for many years. It is so nice to see that it has been restored so beautifully. It was a great experience for our family to stay here and walk in the footsteps of our ancestors.
