Fantastic stay with the best owners!! We were spoiled to excess by the two wonderful owners of this gorgeous B&B! From fantastic and kind service to being spoiled by the best breakfast, this B&B is a true gem! Close to the boat, train and bus transportation, also also tranquil by being away from the big city of Lugano! We will certainly be back when we are in Ticino next time!

The B&B is really a very beautiful place; freshly renovated, extremely friendly staff and very nice breakfast. The rooms are very cozy, and they offer everything you need. The apartments are close to the FoxTown outlet shopping center in Mendrisio. The town is beautiful and is only a short transit to Morcote and other heritage listed locations in the Lugano region. The owner of the apartments is a brilliant host. The service is personal, helpful, and friendly while allowing full privacy for guests. The rooms are clean and very spacious with nice views.

This hotel is so cute and old-school in the best way! Just the style of it, the rooms and facilities are not old but updated and very modern. I loved the way it looked from the outside and the rooms are also in that style. The bed was large and comfy and everything was impeccably clean. You receive a welcome beverage from the fridge that you could drink on the big roof terrace after arrival to relax a bit. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with some different croissants and slices of bread, marmalade and a bit of cheese, coffee, juice and yoghurt. The best thing was the staff who were the friendliest receptionists I ever met. They gave so much advice on what to do and where to go, were patient with my Italian but didnt simply switch to English, which I heard they used perfectly with other guests. They also gave me a train ticket to use for free in Switzerland for two days, which was amazing! I went to Como for one night, which is only a 5 min train ride and then to Lugano in the morning of the next day while I left my luggage in the hotel. I preferred Lugano, but this hotel is perfectly located to explore both sides.

So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.
