The charm and character of the place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When traveling to Switzerland this is more of what I think of as that quintessential place to stay. My room was great! The place is more on the edge of town but only short walk (10 minutes). Which is actually nice walk after eating at a restaurant in town.

Great hotel, great host and great scenery. This is our second times staying this hotel, first time is early summer, scenery beautiful and greenery. All I can say is that the host is above and beyond nice and professional. Did not get to stay in this hotel due to some overbooking issue, but the host accommodated us in a nearby hotel which was also really nice. So we were not left without a room and all was good. We carried on with a lovely and memorable vacation in Grindenwald. Thank you! I would have also liked to stay there, as the view is top, and rooms are big, but it all worked out in the end.

I had an amazing stay! The restaurant system is fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. The terrace is beautiful with a breathtaking view, perfect for relaxing. The rooms are warm, welcoming, and impeccably clean. I truly felt at home and would be more than happy to come back. Highly recommended!

The view from our room was beautiful over the church bells and the snowed mountains. Very beautiful views from the room and the balcony. Excellent breakfast, the allowed us to have friends not staying at the hotel to join us for breakfast.

It's a beautiful hotel. if you do get it, it's a steal. everyone is very very welcoming and friendly. rooms are equipped with hot water kettle and they also have a microwave with cutlery available in the common room for guests to use. all day long you can go to the common room and enjoy a coffee overlooking interlaken from their lovely balcony. we also recieved free interlaken guest card that allowed us to use public transport complimentary with many discounts on the attractions. this place is the best

    The hotel is ideally located in the small town of Lauterbrunnen and is very quiet despite its proximity to the train station. It consists of two locations: one in an older building and the other in a new building almost directly across from the old one. Everything is new and clean, though very modest, but sufficient for basic needs. If you stay here, you know what to expect—definitely not luxury. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains positive.
