Very well presented accommodation with excellent facilities. The breakfast was lovely and our host Fred was so kind and accommodating, helping us plan our biking routes, restaurant options etc. The property has a dedicated area for storing bikes and kit which was ideal for our stay. The location is excellent for accessing the major cycling climbs around the region.

We had a truly wonderful 4-night stay. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Isabel and her husband, whose kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. Each morning started with a delicious, generous breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and perfect for fueling up before a day in the mountains. One of the highlights of our stay was Isabel’s homemade Tartiflette—a local specialty that was absolutely fantastic and not to be missed! The service throughout our stay was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always helpful. Isabel and her husband went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The location is ideal for cyclists looking to take on the legendary climbs of the Tour de France. Col de la Croix de Fer, Col de la Madeleine, and the Télégraphe/Galibier are all within reach, making this a perfect base for an unforgettable alpine cycling trip. We couldn’t recommend Coeur de Fournache more highly and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were in a tiny cabin (Alice in Wonderland) with bathroom, which is next to it. It was super cool. The owner is very nice!
