The entire stay was nothing less than excellent, from the countryside location to the compete comfort and coziness of the room to facilities. Everything is very well catered for and the host have thought about everything you might need. I would highly highly recommend this stay to all couples.

We were extremely happy with our stay. Our hosts were great. We enjoyed having breakfast with other guests. The breakfasts were made to order and delicious. Loved Bob and Felix, the black and white cats. We had a lovely view from our room and if the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed sitting n the patio with a glass of wine. We had a problem with the gps in our rental car and we kept missing the entrance. We switched to Apple Maps and got there with ease.

    We arrived by canoe and the owner was very helpful in making space to store our two canoes. The building is old, quaint and a great location by the river. Room was clean and bathroom a good size.

    Perfect location, quiet, great hosts, brilliant room and facilities, great breakfast choices. Really felt we were welcomed. Walking distance of a good pub to eat at.

    Clean and tidy room with a lovely view. Very quaint and cozy. Excellent friendly service. Great location right next to the cliff railway/bridge. Drinks in the pub were cheaper than I’m used to and it doesn’t stay open too late so didn’t disturb our sleep. Good value for money overall

    Room a little basic/bland to our expectations. Although it was modelled on steam engine times - could do with a little colour but fully functional, quirky and clean. We would definitely stay again as it's a great location (private allocated parking), friendly staff and fantastic breakfast!!
