Very elabote room. Superb bath shower and four (two) poster bed. Large Suite. Room was quiet even with the fair in town and lots of people outside.

The property felt very upscale, especially at winter off season prices. The breakfast was very nice. The bowls that were available to eat cereal or yogurt out of were very fun and quirky and we were able to find them for sale at the nearby home and garden store just across the river as a keepsake from our lovely stay. The pub itself was very cosy feeling and I would suggest planning to have a meal there in addition to the breakfast. The food in general was very rich. I really loved the fact that the property is right on the river and had nice views from our room and the dining room. There were also great woodland walks you could do starting right at the property. Some of the rooms are below the pub right on the river and the others are above.

We had a lovely stay at Upper Buckton - an exceptional B&B. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, Jonathan and Mary our hosts welcomed us warmly and looked after us exceptionally well. Woke up to bird song and the sound of owls cooing in the distance. Very comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast each morning, pets with doggies, and beautiful country walks... couldn't fault this place!

Traditional breakfast might have been larger, but was good. The location was perfect. Evening meal was first rate. They have a wide array of spirits, including local one, and beers.

Staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring my stay was perfect. The breakfast, made from local produce, was delicious, in a beautiful setting. The rooms have been recently renovated, with comfortable aesthetic furnishings. I was welcomed with a sweet treat and a very informative information booklet. I would definitely return!
