Awesome gem in Carlisle. Julie provided fantastic hospitality. The rooms are modern, yet cozy. Comfy bed. Lots of little personal touches such as fresh milk in a glass bottle and yummy home-made cookies. We loved every second of our stay at Rosalind House. Would definitely come back. Great location in walking distance to the city center, the University of Cumbria and the Carlisle Cathedral

Arkale Lodge was so comfortable and had the quality of a small hotel. I stayed in a small single room which had all the amenities, an en-suit bathroom, tv and even coffee and tea facilities. The included breakfast was delicious and the host Ishwar was so warm and hospitable.
