It is very walkable from there to Neptune’s Staircase and the Great Glen Way walking path along Caledonian Canal. Just a few minutes outside of the town center. Also our room had an amazing view of Ben Nevis. Janice was a gracious host and provided a nice variety for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The guest house was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. We were very early for check in, and welcomed in quickly regardless. Breakfast was lovely as well. Would highly suggest to anyone visiting!

I had just finished a longgggg solo hiking trip (West Highland Way) and my body was shutting down. Thankfully I had booked to stay at the wonderful Taigh Toilichte!! My host Sheila was AMAZING and made me feel right at home instantly. Best nights sleep of my life!!!

We had a truly wonderful experience at Lochiel Villa Guest House. The place was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. What made our stay extra special was the incredible hospitality. A special thank you to the owner and his son — they were so kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived until we left, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their warm attitude and thoughtful assistance made us feel like family, not just guests. We highly recommend this guest house and would absolutely love to come back again!

The guest house is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and close to the Main Street. Spotlessly clean… and in immaculate condition. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, and our room had a large walk in shower. We were warmly greeted by Brandi upon arrival. We were able to store our luggage there after checkout until our train time. Highly recommended!

The view of Ben Nevis from our “private” patio was wonderful. The host is friendly, kind and helpful. The to-go breakfast in the room was a lovely surprise and appreciated. It’s a great location to get to all the major tourist spots nearby while still experiencing the peace and quiet of rural Scotland.
