Right off the Coast to Coast path, which was great for a walker like me. Hot shower, comfortable bed, really friendly staff. Good food in the pub downstairs and seemed to be where many folks were eating, even those not staying there.

We had a great stay. The location was great, the staff gave us great advice on walks and places to eat and the breakfast was delicious.
