I recently stayed at The Stag Inn Crosby, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, and full of character — with thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. A perfect B&B with a helpful and friendly host in Sue, on arrival she asked me what I would like for breakfast so clearly she had me figured out :-) Locally sourced toiletries in the bathroom (bathrobe provided which was a nice touch), spacious and perfectly clean throughout, the afforementioned breakfast using local produce and of course close to the lakes and the sea. I'd be proud to recommend Armidale to anyone staying in the area and will visit again with pleasure

In principle everything was above my expectations. Location, friendliness of host and staff, cleanliness etc. There are also many pubs in town and walking the coast path from St Bees to Whitehaven (or the other way round) was really stunning.
