I was all over the moon. How kind was Cris (the owner) and the lady that I talked by phone, amazing. They were extremely polite and super dedicated to making me feel confortable, they helped me in every single aspect. It was for a work visit so I had meetings all day, I arrived town a bit early and leave a bit late, so my worry it was what to do with the luggage, Cris was super helpful and replied in seconds to all my messages finding a solution. The room was spotless clean and the bed super comfy, the room has everything you may need (fan, little fridge, fresh towerls, soaps, coffee, tea, water...). The location is 1 minute walking to the high street and the train station. Absolutely great, veeery happy, and I am considering getting back for longer stays.

The staff weresuper friendly..couldn't do enough for us. We went out for the evening and came back for a drink and had a really good time in the bar. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Julie was welcoming, friendly, and an asset to this pub/B and B. Regulars drinking in the pub were also welcoming.

Loved this place - being so old it has some quirks like sloping floors and low doorways (which added to the charm). Our beautiful room was above the dining room and at first we thought the noise might be a problem, however we probably had the best sleep of our entire holiday. Outstanding food and atmosphere, and absolutely amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble and every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and genuine. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel dates from the Tudor period, but the inside reflects the very best in modern design. It is featured in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, as well as the TV show Midsomer Murders.

We had the King Room for a week & it was perfect. The added bonus was a parking space. Breakfast was very good & the hotel’s location is hard to beat with all of Marlow on your doorstep. The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming which added to our stay. When the main bar gets a little too busy, there is a quieter bar next door which was great for us. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Shahid greeted us and showed us everything. He was very fruendky and helpful. There were also instructions for appliances if needed. While small, everything we needed was in the studio. The kitchen had a large fridge freezer, oven, hotplates, microwave, a good selection of cookware, crockery and cutlery. Teas, coffees, hot chocolate, milk sachets, butter, jams and biscuits were supplied. There was a dishwasher and washer/dryer. There were plenty of toiletries, tissues, etc. We parked our car in the driveway.
