Really lovely, quirky spot. Honestly, I can't fault it. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here for a family trip to see Windsor & visit legoland. The location was great. I would describe the pub as a busy spot, people always coming and going, a nice crowd, friends meeting up for a pint and a bite to eat. Really good vibe. Shuts down at 10 / 10.30, so once the crowd moves on, it's pretty quiet. The rooms are really quirky and clean. The bed was comfty. We all slept pretty well. We really enjoyed our stay here. Pizza van and coffee van were an added bonus, and right up the street is some great cafes / restaurants for breakfast or dinner. We had a hire car and found street parking easy. We were out and about most days, so by the time we got home, it was lovely to drop the bags and have a pint or a wander up the street. Really enjoyed it here.

    Great location and ideal for access to airport, and great value for money. Room was comfortable and quiet and had fresh coffee and a French press. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and check in was easy and fast. The breakfast was amazing and it was handy having the restaurant on site for an evening meal.

    The Bird in Hand has become our home from home when visiting England over the last few years. Comfortable rooms, thoughtful touches, a great location, excellent breakfasts - it’s always where we begin and end our stays and return to after venturing further afield for a little exploring or visiting friends and we’ll certainly be back.
