The location was good, not far from the seafront. The hostess was lovely, very friendly and helpful with local information. Breakfast was really good. And the rooms were lovely and clean. Really nice B&B.

The last hotel on the A9, The Ferry Inn at Scrabster is newly renovated and has wonderful sea views. Just north of Thurso, Scrabster Harbour is the gateway to the Orkney Islands.

Jane and Richard were one of the best B&B host we have ever encountered. Truly hospitable. We were served tea n snacks upon arrival and delicious breakfast before we left. Our only regret was just staying a night with them.

I would highly recommend Greenland House. I was welcomed on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The common rooms were inviting and stylish. My room was a calming space and I had a cosy comfy sleep. I liked having a basin in my room, a nice bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and I enjoyed the scramble eggs. The staircase is a centre piece
