We had a very nice stay at Elo's Guesthouse! Elo picked us up for free in Iprari and drove us to the guesthouse which is in a nearby village. We also got free transfer back to the trail the day after. The room was nice and so was the food. A big highlight is Elo and his sweet family, very friendly people!

The location was amazing right at the top of the village. The family run the guesthouse are so welcoming. The food was fabulous and lots of it! Very good value, comfortable rooms with great views and a balcony.

Where do I even start? We’ve had the very best Khachapuri in all of Georgia here and also the most chocolateyy hot chocolate in the entire world here!! The room was stunning with a lot of attention to small details and the heating worked almost too good - we had to unplug it during the night haha! We loved absolutely everything about this place - the food, the people, the atmosphere, the dogs, you name it! Would definitely come back in summer and stay here again :)

Best food we had the whole time we were in Svaneti. We were the only people eating dinner that night and there were loads of tasty dishes for us. The host was very nice and although she spoke only a little English she tried to help us with Google translate and her children spoke English. She also helped us organise a taxi back to Mestia. And the Wi-Fi actually worked well!

Raul and its family are very friendly and nice people who made us feel welcome. The place is just a small deviation from the Mestia to Ushguli track but definitely worth it! A small ancient church makes the place really unique!

This guesthouse was the most satisfying night of my four-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. Firstly the location, although you can see on the map that it's not in the centre of the village, I think it's not only less crowded than the guesthouses in the middle of the village, it's got a small courtyard and a really nice view. Also, the food here was the best I've had in four days of trekking. Last but not least, the host family is very welcoming, serving us with tea and wine, and their third daughter, anna, is really adorable! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

A lovely guesthouse with a warm and welcoming host. Although the guesthouse is not directly on the Mestia-Ushguli trek, the owner kindly offered us a ride, which was greatly appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the host was always quick to assist with anything we needed, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Definitely worth a visit!

    Great location, on the trail from Mestia to Ushguli. It is a big homestay above where the family is living. In the morning they offered me tea and freshly baked baby khachapuri, very sweet! They also have a small cafe/shop where they sell some homemade chacha, wine and others good. Clean rooms and bathroom. Also a nice, big backyard with the option to sit outside.

    Location is good, at the entrance to valley. Breakfast is good as well. Very good hot water. I took the family as I read it is with a private bathroom and it wasn't. Luckily, the host ignored that, and put us in a regular twin room.

    The lodge is just on the tourist pass, 1 km from Iprari, along the way. Everything was clean and well-arranged. Welcoming owner, who also runs a small mini-store next door. Quiet area, we had a really good sleep.
