-very friendly owners, I felt very welcome -the bathroom is huge and clean with really hot water and good water pressure -the room was big and spotless, there is plenty of space for luggage/ hiking gear -the breakfast was simple but delicious -there is only one power outlet in the room but they provided a connector strip so I was able to charge multiple devices

Mr Joe is such a kind and honest man, and gave us an authentic experience of the Bayan area. Best host ever and a lovely family! Beautiful views of the valley from the bungalows and you can go swimming in the river just a short walk down the hills and rice paddies that Joe showed the way for us. 100% recommend staying here to everyone, and recommend going on a day tour with a local driver through Joe to see the strong cultural and heritage places of Bayan and the waterfalls. Mr Joe is very caring about his community and we learnt so much about Bayan. We booked an extra night because it was too nice to leave!

The place has a stunning view of the valley of sembalun, and the beds are really comfortable with a good blanket (which is needed because in the evening and night Sembalun can get really cold). The staff is very friendly and let us grill in front of our room and make a campfire. For 100.000 IDR we could get an extra bed so we could stay with a group of 6 (we rented 2 rooms). Overall the staff were very friendly and the rooms were good! I would definitely book this place again. I recommend the top floor with the balcony as the vibe of this room is better.

Best hotel in the world! with incredible views of the mountains and waterfalls. Also, the best food we tried in all of Indonesia and at a very good price. But the best of all was the service, the hotel is run by young people and they make you have the best experience of your entire trip: live music at night and much more! We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Lombok!
