It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Quite remote but we wanted somewhere quiet after our busy time in Kenmare and Dingle. Host was very welcoming, the coffee and cake on arrival was much appreciated. We had use of a sitting room which was great for us to chill out in.

I didn't get to meet the hosts, as we arrived back at the property late in the evening and left early the next morning. However, they were very accomodating by letting us check in early that day to get ready for our wedding. Very close to the Doonbeg Hotel - if you are attending an event there, it is about a 10 minute drive. Lovely view of the sea from the house. The rooms were very warm on what was a cold winter's night in the west of Ireland - so this is a big plus! Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Breakfast isn't included, but if you are just looking for a bed/room to stay in, then this is very reasonable option for the price. I would happily stay again if in the area.

Great rooms, Greg the owner is amazing. We had an early start so didn’t stay for breakfast but looking at the bistro we should have.

Caroline had the whole area spotless and cosy warm. We had a spacious living area with a view to the distant ocean, a large bathroom and bedroom. She spoilt us with a wonderful breakfast and was extremely friendly and helpful. A great place to stay and very close to the amazing Kilkree Cliffs and not far from the Cliffs of Moher.

On Carrig Island, entry by bridge, in County Kerry, Castle View House provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodations facing the 15th-century Carrigafoyle Castle.
